Danish Modern Erling Torvits Rosewood Dining Chairs for Sorø Stolefabrik (Fully Restored)

A sculptural and refined set of six dining chairs designed by Erling Torvits for Sorø Stolefabrik, Denmark, in the 1960s. Crafted from richly figured solid rosewood, each chair features a gently curved ladder-back design and hand-sculpted frame showcasing exceptional Danish woodworking.

All six chairs have been meticulously restored by hand. Each piece was sanded down to bare wood and sealed with three coats of Mohawk refinishing products for lasting protection. The seats have been newly upholstered, and all six chairs are in excellent condition, ready to provide many more decades of use.
