The Story
Feeling just as fresh today as when it was first introduced, the recently re-launched Wilkes Modular Sofa Group (1976) combines comfort, clean lines, and durability in playful form, with new colors and fabrics. Nicknamed “Chiclet” because of its rounded-edge cushions’ resemblance to pieces of Chiclet gum, this collection was designed by Ray Wilkes, a self-described minimalist. “The fact is, I like total simplicity,” he says.
