Designed by Michal Riabic for TON, the 'Wave' rocking chair was created to commemorate the 150th anniversary of furniture bending in Bystřice pod Hostýnem. A reimagining of the classic Dondolo chair, this piece features striking, sculptural curves in vibrant red beechwood, paired with a deep blue tufted cushion for visual contrast and comfort.
Crafted using 3-meter-long squared beech rods—among the longest used in TON’s production—this lounge chair is both a nod to traditional craftsmanship and a standout contemporary design object.
