Vintage! Ake Fribytter velvet Swedish Sling Lounge by Tord Björklund

A visually striking and incredibly comfortable pair of sling lounge chairs, attributed to Swedish designer Tord Björklund.

Each chair features a sculptural bentwood frame in laminated beech, expertly curved to create a floating and airy silhouette. The suspended seat is made from heavy-duty brown canvas, secured with leather lacing on the sides—giving it both structure and flexibility. Thick, removable tufted velvet cushions in burnt terracotta terry cloth complete the look, offering deep comfort and inviting texture.

The combination of low-slung proportions, soft cushioning, and flowing lines makes these perfect for a relaxed lounge or reading space. In good vintage condition with light signs of use to the fabric and frame. Price is for both chairs.
